Commissioning Manager - Facilities

Your mission
Your mission is the delivery of ELCO I Facility. You are accountable for the Facility Commissioning timeline and budget to ensure the fulfillment of the required performance and quality standards in line with the overall company targets.
Your tasks
  • Enable effective coordination of all commissioning operations, including those performed by the process equipment suppliers at the different stages of the project;
  • Ensure and verify commissioning readiness including completion, closeout and punch list clearance;
  • Timely plan and organize partial or full shutdown as required for the performance of the different commissioning operations;
  • Ensure utilities availability as required to perform process equipment cold and hot commissioning operation organizing when necessary (automation and UMS/BMS not available) operation in manual mode;
  • Promote innovation and cost-effective engineering solutions relying on experience, lessons learned and best practices;
  • Assist line manager in relevant procurement and tenders until award and contract drafting, negotiation and signature;
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and implement the needed safety measures including but not limited to those relevant to the equipment CE marking;
  • Maintain targeted quality, ensure proper handling and timely solution of NCR;
  • Support an effective and agile but structured change management;
  • Collecting, tracking, and reporting risks at the project level;
  • Timely correct deviation and deploy proactive mitigation measures;
  • Support and assist production technology and manufacturing during the equipment installation and commissioning planning.
  • Seamless handover to manufacturing to enable effective facility management   
  • Collect, record, and report all relevant Project feedback, benchmarks, and lessons learned.
  • Follow up on any other instructions from direct managers.
Your profile

  • University degree in Engineering or relevant discipline, alternatively secondary technical education and relevant proven experience in the field.
  • Experience in the field, having managed the commissioning of complex industrial facilities, ideally in similar business area. 
  • Management role in equipment commissioning, consultants or industrial companies being exposed to factory brownfield/greenfield construction.
  • Familiar with production technology and/or manufacturing equipment including installation and commissioning phase.
  • Worked in fast paced environment with strong change management skills. 
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills
  • Good communiation and co-operation skills
