Your mission
At Elcogen, we seek a Manufacturing Quality Manager experienced in developing and implementing quality assurance and management systems. Your mission is to establish and maintain standards, tools, and processes that ensure our fuel cell manufacturing meets customer, company, and stakeholder expectations.
Your tasks
• Define and Develop: Set quality requirements, develop quality assurance systems, and provide clear guidelines for manufacturing units.
• Innovate Quality Control: Design and implement quality control tools and equipment, determining their automation level and integration with in-line and off-line manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with R&D, industrialization teams, and manufacturing units to establish product and process quality benchmarks and targets.
• Customer-Centric Standards: Identify and integrate customer quality standards and requirements into the company’s quality assurance system.
• Compliance Monitoring: Oversee compliance with quality standards and manage the quality documentation system.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC): Establish SPC frameworks, conduct regular reviews to identify trends and variability sources, and implement corrective actions.
• Root Cause Analysis: Address quality issues through thorough root cause analysis and implement improvement activities, including statistical analysis.
• Measurement System Analysis: Ensure the capability of quality control systems through measurement system analysis.
• Calibration Support: Support effective quality equipment calibration systems at manufacturing units.
• Drive Innovation: Promote cost-effective solutions by leveraging past experiences, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Change Management: Enforce structured change management processes.
• Supply Chain Support: Assist the Supply Chain Management team in defining material quality requirements.
• Cost Monitoring: Monitor quality costs and initiate improvement actions to drive higher efficiency systematically.
• Reporting: Organize quality reporting to meet company and stakeholder needs.
• Follow Instructions: Execute any other tasks as directed by your direct manager.
Your profile
• Education: University degree in industrial engineering, industrial management, or a related field, with 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience: Extensive experience in quality control and quality assurance within industrial companies.
• Track Record: Proven success in setting up efficient quality assurance systems and integrating in-line and automated quality control.
• Quality Systems: In-depth knowledge of quality management systems.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in root cause analysis and statistical process controls.
• Six Sigma: Certification in Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in industrial scale-up projects, particularly in fast-paced environments.
• Personal Attributes: Goal-oriented, curious, eager to learn, structured in work approach, with keen attention to detail.
• Team Player: Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Communication: Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
