Industrialization Operating Model Specialist

Your mission
Join Elcogen as an Industrialization Operating Model Specialist and play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a manufacturing process and cost model for our entire product mix including cells, stacks, and modules. Your efforts will support both current operations and our ambitious industrialization and expansion plans, ensuring we meet our performance and quality standards in line with overall company targets.
Your tasks
•    Develop and Maintain Operating Models: Create and sustain an operating model for Elcogen's manufacturing processes, aligned with the structure and data provided by the business control team.
•    Cost Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated cost models to predict the costs of goods sold (COGS), covering materials, labor, overhead, and other expenses based on various factors, including product mix, improvements, and factory utilization.
•    Technical Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to understand product designs and manufacturing processes, ensuring cost models accurately reflect production complexities.
•    Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to identify cost optimization options for components and raw materials.
•    Process Optimization: Partner with the Operational Excellence department to identify and implement process and cost optimization strategies.
•    Cost Analysis and Reporting: Provide detailed cost analyses and reports to support business cases, investment decisions, and pricing strategies.
•    Continuous Improvement: Support the ongoing improvement of operating and cost models by incorporating new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods.
•    Additional Duties: Follow up on any other instructions from direct managers.


Why us?
•    Education: MSc in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a relevant discipline.
•    Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost control, cost modeling, financial analysis, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes and an understanding of the product lifecycle.
  • Experience evaluating project costs and justifying capital projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools/methodologies (FMEA, lean manufacturing, 5S, MTM, VSM, etc.).
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills.
  • Experience in structured problem-solving is a plus.
  • Lean 6Sigma Green belt certification is a bonus
