(Junior) Product Manager - Solid Oxide Technology

Your mission
As a (Junior) Product Manager, you will be responsible for our elcoCell product line of solid oxide unit cells. Your products are used in research, application development, and mass production of fuel cells and electrolyzers, providing an important core technology for the energy transition.

You will provide commercial insights to guide the cell product strategy, specify product requirements, and coordinate product releases ensuring that customer requirements, market trends, and competitor analysis shape product evolution. 

Additionally, you will be involved in product change management, acting as the customer representative, ensuring customer requirements and customer feedback is taken into account. You will also lead product launches, ensuring readiness for commercial release and that all support materials are in place for a successful market entry.
Your tasks
•    Oversee product life cycle management for the elcoCell product portfolio.
•    Provide commercial input to the product roadmap and strategy for elcoCell.
•    Develop business cases for new product developments in collaboration with key stakeholders.
•    Work cross-functionally to drive New Product Introduction (NPI).
•    Manage product configurations and their setup in systems (e.g. ERP), including:
  • Product specifications and quality limits 
  • Production standards and options 
  • Manufacturing and packaging requirements.
  • Customer product documentation 
•    Conduct market and competitor analysis, including gathering customer feedback and market trends.
•    Support product marketing activities 
•    Follow established processes and procedures from the Quality Management System.
•    Contribute to the overall company product roadmap, supporting broader product management functions.

Your profile
•    Master’s degree or PhD in chemistry or material sciences, ideally with the focus on electrochemistry or ceramics.
•    Experience with solid oxide cell technologies.
•    Experience or strong interest in product management and technology commercialization.
•    Analytical with a strategic mindset, capable of analyzing diverse data sources and forming clear conclusions.
•    Fluent in English, with Estonian considered a strong advantage; other languages are a plus.
•    Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
•    A general understanding of business principles, including financial performance factors.
•    Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
•    Results-driven with a focus on long-term success.
