Director of Industrialization

Your mission
You will lead the scaling and industrialization of the company’s cutting-edge Solid Oxide (SO) technology, transforming it from R&D innovation to mass manufacturing. This role drives the development of new production processes, ensures the integration of new technologies into large-scale manufacturing, and oversees the seamless transition from design to production. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing strategic supply chain partnerships, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives, you will ensure the company meets its capacity, quality, cost, and safety targets.  
Your profile
As the Director of Industrialization, you will:
•    be responsible for scaling up Elcogen technology, industrializing, and bringing into mass manufacturing new generations of the company's proprietary products and processes.
•    be responsible for creating and implementing the Company industrialization roadmap which is a key part of the overall Company product and process development. 
•    be involved in the development projects from the early stage working hand in hand with the R&D department and then developing production processes until the successful handover to production in line with the company targets in terms of capacity, quality, safety, and cost.
•    focus on the manufacturing of all company products (cell, stack, and module).
•    support supply chain to properly coordinate and enable the successful industrialization of components produced at outsourced suppliers.
•    drive the engineering of all new manufacturing lines and support the equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, ramp-up, and handover. 
•    lead the continuous improvement activities of process engineering like process automation and digitalization.
•    work together with the company PMO to draft and monitor specific programs and project timelines and budget. 
•    enable the company strategy and support the executive team´s decisions.


Your main experience and education  
-    university degree, preferably in Engineering or relevant fields
-    proven track record in relevant fields and experience driving innovative and challenging industrial scale-up in fast-paced environments.
-    >15 years experience in Production Engineering management within industrial companies.
-    have worked together with R&D or Product Development departments and led the deployment of new technology into production.
-    participated in capacity expansions in greenfield and/or brownfield projects for the expansion.
-    used to work with Supply Chain to lead the industrialization of component manufacturing at outsourced suppliers.
-    Experienced in building up, leading, and developing an efficient and skilled industrialization team. 
-    exposure to and enjoy working in multicultural, international environments. 

Your quality and skills 
-    Goal-oriented, curious and eager to learn. 
-    Great stakeholder management skills, partnered with a high level of collaboration and strong communication skills  
-    A structured approach to working & problem-solving
-    Lean 6 Sigma green or black belt is favorable
-    A natural leader, interested in people management and development, with a strong attitude to nurture a productive and passionate culture.
-    Excellent English written and oral skills (knowledge of other languages is a plus)


The role can be based in Tallinn, Estonia, or in Helsinki, Finland.
