R&D Analytical Engineer

Your mission
To strengthen our R&D team in Estonia working with cell development, we are looking for an Analytical Engineer. You will play a significant role in supporting our analytics and characterization capabilities in relation to solid oxide cell development, materials characterisation, analytical methods development, equipment operation and quality control. 

Finally, you will be participating in continuous product development work.
Your tasks
  • Participate in choosing and managing of analytical equipment.
  • Development of appropriate methods for QC of products for sample preparation and analytical system.
  • Conduct samples analysis, data acquisition, data management, protocol development and report writing.
  • Assist in establishing of periodical maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Writing of working instructions, documentation and procedures.
  • Operate according to the health and safety laboratory practices and standards.
  • Other R&D and production-related supporting activities as required.
Your profile
  • M.Sc. in chemistry, materials science, physics or similar (Ph.D. is considered as an asset).
  • Hands-on work experience with laboratory analytical equipment, knowledge of analytical chemistry, chemical laboratory work and material characterization, including chemical safety and laboratory practices.
  • Knowledges of analytical methods and standards.
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication.
  • Ability and enthusiasm for hands on laboratory work, ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
  • High aptitude for Safety.
